Drumderg Joinery is a rural business based on the Lismacloskey Road in Toomebridge. Trading for over 40 years, the company employs 6 full-time staff.

The business produces a range of bespoke finished hardwood doors and windows handcrafted in their workshop using the highest quality materials- with contracts throughout the UK and Ireland.

Grant assistance was awarded to purchase new equipment for the business to speed up production by reducing the number of manual tasks in the workshop. The aim of this investment was to allow the business to mechanise some of the tasks- allowing quality to be maintained at a very high level but increasing capacity for greater speed of throughput. This increased productivity will allow this business, which had been operating at full capacity within a recovering market, to grow sales, increase efficiency, and most importantly, offer employment in the local area.
