Sareen Garden Services is an existing garden maintenance business which specialises in hedge and tree cutting. Project promoter, David Archbold, was awarded Rural Development Programme funding to purchase a wood chipper to increase the efficiency of the business and offer a new product to both new and existing customers.
The new equipment provided David with the opportunity to reduce the costs of the business and take on larger work at a profit. It also enabled him to offer a product which he was unable to provide to customers.
