Clementsmount Fun Farm

Project Promoters, mother and daughter team Breidge and Paidi McAlister decided to combine their farm and childcare experience and develop a Fun Farm.

Clementsmount Fun Farm opened in 2006 and offers indoor and outdoor activities, from petting barn and pedal go karts to a soft play area and pony rides.

Breidge McAlister and her daughter Paidi were awarded funding to purchase indoor and outdoor play equipment and animal pens, to set up a tea room and party room, create a car park and picnic area, install toilet facilities and market and promote the new business.

In February 2008, Clementsmount was awarded grant aid to extend the activities available at the fun farm by purchasing a barrel train and jumping pillow. Adding these activities has enabled the business to cater for visitors of a larger age range and extend the fun farm's customer base, developing repeat custom and generating increased income as a result.
