Diversification - Business Planning Course
DARD Diversification Challenge
To help farmers and members of farm families develop their diversification idea, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development plan to run a Diversification Challenge - Business Planning training programme in Ballymena Business Centre commencing on 13th January at 7.30 pm and running each fortnight for 6 workshops.
This programme is an important foundation for anyone wishing to develop a diversification enterprise on the farm as it provides essential business information and will provide you with one-to-one mentoring support from your local DARD Rural Enterprise Adviser. The course will cover business topics such as:
•· Market research
•· Resources
•· Legislation
•· Pricing your product or service
•· Constructing 5 year financial projections
•· Marketing or selling the product or service
•· Compilation of a business plan
