GROW Business Breakfast

BOOST YOUR BUSINESS OVER BREAKFAST WITH UP TO £50K OF GROW FUNDING

Are you a business, farmer or social economy enterprise interested in GROW funding?  Whether you've had funding before or are completely new to the GROW Programme, come along to the GROW Business Breakfast from 7.30am - 9.30am on Wednesday, 13th April 2011 in Corr's Corner Hotel, Newtownabbey.

Vera McWilliam, Chair of the GROW South Antrim Local Action Group said, "GROW can offer grants of up to £50,000 at a 50% grant rate for private businesses.  The breakfast is a great opportunity to speak to GROW staff and representatives from local banks, enterprise agencies, Invest NI and other agencies who can offer support.  There'll be practical advice on how to make a successful application, a chance to speak to banks face-to-face and chat to businesses that have been through the process.  Guest speaker Gerry Faloona will also be there to get everybody motivated and thinking about boosting their business.  Contact the GROW office on 028 9448 1311 for an invitation."

GROW is looking for new and existing businesses who:

• Are developing a new product or service;
• Can show there is a demand for their project;
• Can demonstrate how funding will benefit their business; for example with new jobs or increased orders;
• Are doing something innovative.

GROW South Antrim will re-open for applications under the Farm Diversification, Business Creation & Development and Rural Tourism themes on Monday, 2^nd May and will close at 4pm on Monday, 13^th June.  This application call is for farmers, individuals, private businesses and social economy enterprises based in the rural areas of Antrim, Carrickfergus and Newtownabbey Borough Councils.
