With the economic downturn starting to impact on the community, voluntary and social economy sector, now is the time for organisations to consider a change in strategic direction.
Ortus, the business development agency, is looking for 10 social enterprises to develop their businesses into a franchise, and 20 community and voluntary or social economy sector organisations defy the current economic downturn.
Awareness sessions are available to give your organisation the information it needs to decide whether social franchising may help ensure its sustainability. The information seminars are planned in Enniskillen, Omagh, Lisburn, Derry/Londonderry, Armagh, Banbridge and Newry starting on 20th February.
Funding advice and capability support will be made available to organisations selected for the new initiative alongside a package of intensive business support including mentoring and an individual implementation plan for each of the organisation.
