Application Call for Funding
Under these Programmes, GROW South Antrim can support individuals, private businesses, not-for-profit organisations, non-departmental public bodies and local councils. Projects should be based within, or demonstrate a significant impact on a rural area of Antrim, Carrickfergus or Newtownabbey Borough Council. Maximum grants available to not for profit organisations of up to £250,000 at a 75% grant rate. Maximum grants available for private businesses of up to £50,000 at 50% grant rate. Please note that some business activities are not eligible for support.
To be eligible for the Village Renewal programme, villages must be within a rural area of Antrim, Carrickfergus or Newtownabbey Borough Council, have a population of fewer than 4,500 inhabitants according to the NISRA 2001 census and the project must have been identified through an integrated village plan. Please note that the maximum grant available under this programme is £250,000 at a 75% grant rate.
Application call open from Monday 14th May - Monday 2nd July 2012, 4pm. Applications submitted after this date and time will not be accepted. Please note that any application that requires planning permission, must have full permission in place at the time of application or commit to applying for full planning permission within 6 weeks of the assessment outcome. Failure to do so will result in the application being rejected.
